Your piece on censorship led me here. I, too, write on Substack in a new pub called Disquisition. As far as drawing an attacking enemy into the heart of Russia only to be cut off by his force's supply lines, I know this worked well, too, in the Napoleonic wars. Napoleon was able to capture an evacuated Moscow, but when the bitter winter came, Mother Nature came to his aid. You write quite well. Thank you for sharing this insight. --Donny Claxton
